Your Responsibility
When you join one of our meetups or events, it’s important to know that you’re taking part at your own risk. While we love creating fun and supportive adventures, you are responsible for yourself throughout the activity.
Many of our meetups involve physical activity—like hiking, swimming, paddleboarding, or camping—so it’s important that you only take part in what feels right for you.
We’re here to cheer each other on, but ultimately, your safety and wellbeing are in your hands. Please come prepared and take care of yourself.
Respecting the Environment
We love exploring the outdoors—and it's up to all of us to protect it. Please make sure to take everything you bring with you, including any rubbish, so we leave no trace behind.
Be kind to nature and any wildlife we come across. Avoid disturbing animals or their habitats and stick to marked paths where possible.
Let’s do our part to keep the places we adventure in beautiful for everyone—now and in the future!
Photography & Filming
We love capturing the magic of our adventures! During meet-ups, photos and videos may be taken to share on our social media, website, or for general marketing purposes.
By joining an event, you’re agreeing to possibly be photographed or filmed. If you’d rather not be included, no problem at all—just let us know at the start of the activity or email us beforehand at iowadventuregirlsuk@gmail.com.
Your comfort always comes first!
Costs & Contributions
We’re a completely unfunded community and free to join—no membership fees, just a shared love for adventure!
That said, some activities may come with individual costs, like campsite bookings, paddleboard hire, or yoga sessions. In those cases, you’ll only need to pay your own share to take part. We’ll always be clear about any costs in advance, so there are no surprises.
Our goal is to keep things as accessible and affordable as possible while still making space for amazing experiences.
